Forsyth Central Youth Lacrosse is seeking volunteers to coach lacrosse. Program participants are boys and girls in first through eighth grade. Volunteer coaches are an essential part of the league, providing support with program logistics, coaching and mentoring youth. Volunteers must enjoy working with kids and be able to create a positive, encouraging recreational environment for all players.

Teams practice twice-a-week in the evening during the season. Games are played on Saturday and\or Sunday.  Coaches volunteer approximately five hours per week. Several teams are in need of volunteer coaches.

Regardless of your experience level, if you have enthusiasm for the sport, and find satisfaction in watching our players learn and grow to love the game too, then please volunteer to serve as a head or assistant coach.   The league will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to be successful!

Training and season long support is provided. Volunteer coaches must attend a pre-season volunteer orientation/training. Safety is a top priority, so all coaches must complete a volunteer application and criminal history background check as well as online concussion awareness training.
